Tapping is a simple, effective and increasingly popular method of gaining a sense of ease and balance. It is primarily used to help alleviate the emotional and physical issues that are holding you back. EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques, widely known as Tapping.
EFT involves gently tapping on acupressure points on your face, hands and body, whilst using words and phrases to focus on an emotional issue, pain or difficulty you are experiencing.
As with Shiatsu, EFT helps you bring balance into the body’s energy system and send signals to the brain that control stress. Clinical research shows that stimulation of the end points of energy meridians sends calming signals to the brain, lowering the stress hormone cortisol.
As a treatment on its own or working hand in hand with Shiatsu Massage Therapy, Tapping can be used in times of physical pain, ill-health, stress, anxiety and depression. It also works well as part of your self care toolkit!

Learn how to integrate Tapping into your daily self care routine, or as a ‘first aid’ tool when experiencing chronic pain, stress and anxiety or difficult situations.
Jenny incorporates EFT exercises into Shiatsu Connects popular programme of on and offline Self Care Workshops and Events and tailored Workplace Wellbeing Programmes for community groups and staff teams/organisations.
